Reference¶
The pages in this part are for looking things up rather than for reading in order. Use them when you need to know who can do something, where a setting lives and what it starts as, what a term means, or which pages cover a subject.
Pages in This Section¶
- Roles and Permissions: the five roles, the seven areas and their No Access, View and Edit levels, the actions reserved for Company Admins, and the approval steps reserved for Company Admins and Accountants.
- Settings Reference: every setting a company can change, grouped by where it lives, with what it does, its default, who can change it and the page that explains it.
- Glossary: plain-language definitions of the accounting, construction and Structally terms used in the guide, each linked to the page that covers it.
- Keyword Index: every page of the Help Center grouped by keyword.
- About This Guide: the Structally version the guide describes, the sample company used in the examples, and the conventions used on every page.
Other Places to Look¶
- Statuses and Lifecycles: every status a record can have and the action that changes it.
- Settings and Job Costing Settings: the settings pages themselves.
- Troubleshooting: what messages mean, access problems and unexpected balances.
- The search box at the top of every page searches the full text of the Help Center.
