Settings Reference

This page lists every choice that applies to your whole company, in one place. Most settings are on the pages of Settings; the job costing settings are on Job Costing Settings under Jobs & Costing, and payment terms and the chart of accounts are under Accounting. Each row gives the default a new company starts with, who can change the setting, and the page that explains it in full.

Who Can Change a Setting

The Who Can Change It column uses these short names:

Jobs & Costing Edit Company Admins, Accountants, Project Managers, and Custom users given Edit on Jobs & Costing.

Users who can open a page but not change its settings see the values without the Edit and Save buttons. See Roles and Permissions and, for each Settings page, Who Can Open Each Page.
